Space Florida

Space Florida is the public-private partnership responsible for promoting and developing Florida’s aerospace industry. Space Florida was created by the Florida Legislature to sustain Florida’s position as the global space leader. As declared in its mission statement, Space Florida drives State economic development across the global aerospace enterprise.

With the creation of Space Florida, aerospace leaders in government, military and business can partner with one organization, allowing Space Florida to serve as the lead agency for Florida’s efforts to invest in aerospace development. Space Florida is guided by its Board of Directors composed of influential leaders from throughout the state; and operates under the direction of its President, Frank DeBello, who oversees a professional staff with expertise in aerospace development.
