On April 27, 2012, the University of Central Florida’s College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS), is planning to host the Seventh Annual Florida Engineering Education Conference (FEEC) at the UCF’s FAIRWINDS Alumni Center. Our office has been working with our conference partners (Harris Corporation, the Florida Engineering Foundation, the Florida Space Grant Consortium and the Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Curriculum and Instruction) to again plan an informative program with the opportunity for attendees to network and establish new engineering education contacts. There is a special emphasis this year on ENVIROMENTAL EDUCATION programs with an engineering focus.
K12 STEM teachers, administrators, practicing engineers and other (informal) educators involved in and/or interested in learning more about engineering education from across Florida are welcome to attend the conference. There will again be three panels and three workshops.
- The first panel will include senior engineering administrators from corporate and governmental organizations to discuss environmental engineering and future career opportunities.
- The second panel will include K12 STEM teachers who are actively integrating environmental programs with an engineering focus into their curricula.
- The third panel will include representatives from industry, government and professional engineering organizations to discuss their INFORMAL environmental programs with an engineering focus
- Three workshops are planned for those interested in specialized engineering programs with an environmental focus.

As in the past, additional details about the conference will be posted to your account and there is no cost for attending this event due to the support of our conference partners.
